Yasuharu TAKANASHI & YAIBA is a rock band mixing modern tunes with traditional instruments. The band is made of 8 members, all as talented, and among which Yasuharu TAKANASHI is the leader of the band and the composer of worldwide successful anime such as Naruto: Shippuden or Fairy Tail. The guitarist, Kenji FUJISAWA, is also a composer, for Beelzebub for example.
On the traditional side, on top of shamisen and shakuhachi, the band includes Hiroshi MOTOFUJI, a taiko genius and pioneer of genres mixing: he was the first in Japan to playtaiko in a rock band.
