Leiji Matsumoto, the manga legend who began his career at age 15 in 1953 and who created Captain Harlock, Galaxy Express 999, Space Battleship Yamato, and many others, passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 85.
The news of his death shook fans of his universe all over the world.
TokiNoWa, a forum created in 2003 dedicated to Leiji Matsumoto and his universe, is organizing a tribute at Japan Expo so that all fans can honor the memory of this artist, who gave so much to Japanese culture.
