ECG Season 7: the finals
Like every year, the European Cosplay Gathering is meeting you at Japan Expo for the big finals: the best European cosplayers selected all through the year in 13 countries brought together on stage for an outstanding show!
In July 2011, the European Cosplay Gathering, ECG for short, went through the finals of its first edition at Japan Expo. Since July 2016, this big European cosplay contest is back on track for its Season 7, touring Europe event after event to find the cosplayers who will take part in the finals set at Japan Expo in July 2017. For Season 7, 13 countries launched in the competition.
3 or 4 entrants – 1 in the solo category, and 2 or 3 in the group category – are chosen in each of the following 13 countries: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, and UK.
The ECG allows the entrants to perform on the biggest cosplay stage in Europe, the Ichigo stage at Japan Expo, in front of 15,000 people who come to admire, support and cheer them. More than a mere cosplay show, the ECG finals are a masterpiece!
