ECG Season 6: French selections
Japan Expo 16th Impact is both the end of a season for the ECG and the beginning of the next one: after the Season 5 finals on Saturday, Season 6 is launched on Sunday with the French selections!
Introduction
In July 2011, the European Cosplay Gathering, ECG for short, went through the finals of its first edition. Every year, this big European cosplay contest goes a great tour of Europe to choose the entrants for each country.
3 or 4 participants are chosen in each of the following 11 countries: Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
The ECG allows the entrants to parade on the biggest cosplay stage in Europe, the Ichigô Stage at Japan Expo, in front of 15,000 people. More than a mere cosplay show, the ECG finals are a masterpiece!
