Eisaku Inoue and Keiichi Ichikawa, two former friends and colleagues of the great Shingo Araki, give a talk on their former comrade on the Masterclass stage.
Eisaku Inoue began working with Shingo Araki on The Knights of the Zodiac, a series in which Araki infused his style and thus shaped much of the identity of this legendary Toei Animation series.
In 1974, Shingo Araki founded Araki Productions, his own studio along with other big names such as Michi Himeno and Akio Sugino. Keiichi Ichikawa joined the studio at the start of his career, and soon began working on series such as GeGeGe no Kitaro and One Piece, becoming Araki's disciple.
The two of them have come together at Japan Expo to bring you a truly exceptional conference on a sacred monster of animation, by two people who knew him personally.
Don't miss this opportunity to remember the greatness of Shingo Araki!
