Aurore
Aurore has been a comics artist and author since 2003, and she is also the artist behind Japan Expo’s posters since 2006!
Biography
A fan of imaginary worlds, comics, and manga, Aurorecreated MyCity in 1995, one of the first manga-style fanzines in France.
After graduating in agronomy, she started working in animation as a self-taught artist, and then signed her first comics series with the publisher Delcourt in 2003.
Since then, she has published more than a dozen albums: Elinor Jones, Harfang, Lady Liberty, Pixie, Kookabura Universe... At the same time, she kept on releasing self-published sketchbooks and comics. She is currently working on the adaptation of a classic of English literature: Jane AUSTEN’s Pride and Prejudice. The 1st volume was released in September 2019 with the publisher Soleil.
Aurore has also been the artist of Japan Expo’s posters since 2006.
