Meet Naoko Tsutsumi, renowned producer at Studio Trigger, invited to Japan Expo by CD PROJEKT RED.
Naoko Tsutsumi, animation producer of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners at Studio Trigger, is invited to Japan Expo by CD PROJEKT RED to talk about their collaboration during a round table alongside character designer Yoh Yoshinari, narrative director Bartosz Sztybor and producer Saya Elder.
Naoko Tsutsumi began her career as a production assistant at GAINAX in the 2000s, working on the Gunbuster 2: Diebuster OVAs and the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann anime series.
When Studio Trigger was founded, her husband, Yoh Yoshinari, directed his first anime, Little Witch Academia, on which she worked as a producer. As a producer at Studio Trigger, she coordinates the animation teams on several of their flagship projects, including Kill la Kill, Promare, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunner.
