Starrysky
STARRYSKY is a "Eurasian rock" band - somewhere between Western metal and Asian pop - who have written official songs for Squeezie, Sora, Joueur Du Grenier, Noob, Maliki and many others! Don't miss their concerts over the four days of the festival!
STARRYSKY is a rock band strongly inspired by Asian music and anime themes.
Although their songs are mainly in French or English, the band's sound is definitely J-rock.
Despite a repertoire of 100% original songs, STARRYSKY is the most frequent performer at manga and Japan-themed trade shows in France, with concerts at Japan Expo, Paris Manga, Made in Asia, TGS and Polymanga. Since 2022, the band has also been performing internationally as official artists for Hoyoverse and Level Infinite, particularly at Gamescom.
In addition to numerous collaborations with the French web - Squeezie, Joueur du Grenier, Noob, Maliki, Sora, Louis-San, KaraL among others - and French pop-culture voices - PADG, Jean-Marc Anthony Kabeya, Geneviève Doang, Adeline Chetail - the group's universe develops through concept albums, telling a single continuous story that features the members themselves in an alternative reality. In November 2020, the album “Timeshift - l'album à l'envers” becomes the 2nd music record on Ulule just behind Stupeflip.
In 2025, the video game Maliki: Poison of the Past is released by Ankama, with a soundtrack composed and directed entirely by Starrysky, including several original songs and a collaborative track with Motoi Sakuraba.
The group also performs in the new Noob film, both as actors in the film, composers of part of the soundtrack and creators of a live concert at the Grand Rex.
At JAPAN EXPO 2025, Starrysky and Mika Kobayashi will perform their musical co-creation “THE LAST SONG” together on stage for the first time.
