ASTERISM
ASTERISM is a heavy metal band formed by three musicians. The group, which has extended its activities to North America, Middle East, South-East Asia and other parts of the world has finally returned in Europe.
ASTERISM is a heavy metal band formed by the guitarist HAL-CA, the bassist MIYU, and the drummer MIO. All three of them have been in love with music since childhood; HAL-CA began her career solo while the brothers MIO and MIYU played together. In 2014, the three of them met while participating in a music contest and decided to form the group together. They made themselves known on the web with metal cover of anime musics.
In 2019, they traveled all over the globe and toured in the U.S.A. and Asia, making an appearance at the South by Southwest music festival in Texas.
In March 2023, they made their major debut with SME Records. The same year, they plan a tour in the U.S.A. and attend conventions for anime fans in Saudi Arabia and Singapour, seeking to share their music with fans worldwide.
Their aim is a worldwide expansion with a new genre of music, the "MASS METAL", which aspires to be a "metal that reaches, resonates and is loved by all", betting on their meticulously composed music and their unique pop sensibility.
Join them for shows and signing sessions over the four days of the festival! They will also be presenting their new music book, PLANET OF METAL, published on June 26, 2024. The book is illustrated by cartoonist Acky Bright. On its pages, the band members are pitted against a host of monsters, and ASTERISM has written an album to accompany their epic journey.
