Starrysky

STARRYSKY is a "Eurasian rock" band - somewhere between Western metal and Asian pop - who have written official songs for Squeezie, Sora, Joueur Du Grenier, Noob, Maliki and many others! Don't miss their concerts over the four days of the festival!

Drawing heavily on pop-culture and fantasy worlds, the group has created several musical concepts on their YouTube channel - which has 230,000 subscribers and over 100 million views - such as TAI REFLECTIONS, a series in which they carry out musical challenges sent in by the public, and JAMFICTION, original songs that feature The Mandalorian, Luffy, Cloud, Asuka Soryu Langley and other pop-culture icons.

They also compose for the French web: Noob, Maliki, Squeezie, Joueur du Grenier, Sora, Louis-San, KaraL, Salut Les Geeks, Le Grand JD, and on the Japanese side, they even collaborate with animation figures such as Mamoru YOKOTA(Death Note, Naruto Shippuden) and Masashi KUDÔ(Bleach).

Their album TIMESHIFT, "the album that listens backwards", takes up the concept of "La Chanson à l'Envers". A composition released at the end of 2017 that had the distinction of having been written, recorded and performed entirely by reversing the audio playback, and which now accumulates over 1.4 million views on YouTube.

More recently, the band was able to produce a song for the game Nikke: Goddess of Victory, and features in the game's top 3 most listened-to songs on music platforms. Staying with video games, they are also producing the entire soundtrack for the upcoming video game Maliki, due for release at the end of the year. At the end of April, they launched the international version of the band under the name Aster连Lián.

Composer Tai Wuang, singer Sasha Brown, bassist and reviewer Neku Scheyen, guitarist Logan Sechi and drummer Yuki Takano are all on hand throughout the festival to meet you at their booth and on stage for live performances, and make you discover their hit L'Univers de Soraplayed for the first time on the Ichigo stage at Japan Expo!!
