Mathieu Bablet is a comic book artist who graduated from ENAAI in Chambéry. He began his career by sending his project La Belle Mort to Ankama Éditions, which was quickly accepted by Run for publication on Label 619. This fruitful collaboration gave rise to several successful works, including Shangri-La and Carbone & Silicium. Now an active member of Label 619, Mathieu Bablet is published by Rue de Sèvres with Midnight Order, a collective work for which he wrote the script and directs eight artists.

Founded by RUN, author of Mutafukaz in 2008, and then helped to manage by Mathieu Babelet, Guillaume Singelin and Florent Maudoux, Label 619 began as a literary collection within Ankama, before becoming an independent creative studio in 2019. The label will change ownership in 2021, moving from Ankama to Editions Rue de Sèvres.
Label 619 has enabled many talented authors to release their ambitious works, including Mathieu Bablet's Carbone & Silicium and Florent Maudoux's Freeks' Squeele.
