Keto Valero has always had a passion for art and images. After many experiments, he has been trying his hand at manga for several years now, with his work Darwin!
Born in Montpellier, France, Keto Valero has always had a passion for art and images. After graduating in visual communications, with a specialization in cartooning, he moved to Lyon to attend the Émile COHL art school. At the age of 21, he decided to fly to South Korea to work in the studio of Kwon Hyun-Kyu, a great master of Buddhist art recognized as the “Intangible Treasure of Korea”.
Since then, he has periodically assisted the master on his canvases and worked with him on frescoes and temple decorations. At the same time, he developed his own art form, strongly inspired by Buddhism, and took part in numerous painting exhibitions.
In France, he has worked in a variety of graphic design agencies, as well as in the public sector on a freelance basis. For several years now, he has been working on his first creative manga project: Darwin. Come and discover his work at the Ankama booth!
