Exposition : A stroll throught Japan, Osaka a city full of life
Japan Expo continues its journey across Japan to show you the most beautiful cities in the Land of the Rising Sun. This year, we're packing our bags for Osaka!
Osaka, the hectic city that never sleeps, neighbour to the traditional Kyoto, is an ideal destination for gourmets. Okonomiyaki, takoyaki, and many more Japanese specialties were born in the streets of Osaka. Although Osaka is often presented as a modern city, many of its monuments have stood the test of time in a city that developed through trade.
First of all, the famous Osaka Castle, which has towered over the city since the 16th century. But also more recent constructions such as the iconic Tsutenkaku Tower, which rises above the alleys of the Shinsekai district. Its architecture is a nod to another famous tower in Paris, the Eiffel Tower.
If you're passionate about pop culture, Osaka is the city for you! From cosplay festivals to idol bands, Osaka is an electrifying city.
In this 36m² exhibition, come and discover all the treasures of Osaka, with explanatory texts and magnificent photographs to delight your eyes. Two large photocalls are set up so that you can immerse yourself, for a moment, in the city full of energy that is Osaka!
