After its anime adaptation by the Japanese TV channel NHK, the French manga Radiant continues its adventure and the author, Tony VALENTE, will be meeting you at Japan Expo for signings, in partnership with Ankama!
Biography
Tony VALENTE was born in 1984 in Toulouse, France, and is as much interested in French-Belgian comics as in manga. He made his debut in the world of comics in 2004 with the fantasy series Les 4 Princes de Ganahan. In 2008, he came back to manga with the series Hana Attori and then launched into a trilogy with the scriptwriter Didier TARQUIN, S.P.E.E.D. Angels.
In 2012, he began on his own the manga Radiant. He thrived on this work. Radiant was awarded with 2016’s Best International Manga Daruma. A hard worker, he is the scriptwriter, artist, and colorist at the same time for Radiant. He now produces three volumes a year, all while collaborating with the NHK on the Radiant anime. Indeed it has been such a success that the manga is being published in Japan without prepublication and adapted as an anime by the Japanese public channel.
