THE SIXTH LIE is an electronic rock band formed in May 2015 in Tokyo, by Arata (Vocals), Reiji (Guitar & Programming), and Ray (Drums).
The band is well-known for their hybrid music style inspired by the latest worldwide hits, and their neo-futuristic concept featuring elements from science fiction and outer space. They held their first world tour in June to July 2017, and during their tour through United Kingdom, France, Germany and Canada, they attracted over 2,500 people and sold out their CD’s at the tour venues.

The band name originates from the words of the French composer Claude DEBUSSY, who is quoted to have said “Art is the most beautiful of all lies.” By naming their band THE SIXTH LIE, the members wish to create a lie going beyond the five senses, so beautiful it cannot be explained by words.
The band has so far released three albums and a digital single, and have a TV anime tie-up coming up starting this April with the ending of Golden Kamuy, making them a band you must keep your eyes on this year.
And the best way to do so is to come meet them at Japan Expo next July as they will be performing live on the Karasu stage and holding signings and photo call sessions!
