SAKURA Mai 〜B i To Wa
These nuptials are wrapped in an outfit that are slick and made out of silk! Sakura Mai is a team of kimono stylists specializing in large-scale ceremonies.
Wabunka is made up of kimono designers who have been handling kimono textiles with care for many years.
Wrapping their dresses in furisode and obi, they inscribe them in Japanese tradition.
Discover a show centered on the art of Japanese dress, wrapping and unfolding before your very eyes, complemented by the majestic arrangement of hairstyles that exude an aura of nobility.
Replicating in their show a wedding ceremony in the spirit of Japanese traditions, you'll be spellbound by the elegance of the performance. Wabunka is also capable of uniting spirits: Kitsune no yomeiri, or marriage of the fox, is in Japanese folklore, the union of ghosts and otherworldly creatures.
Wabunka reproduces Kitsune no yomeiri with black tomesode and white kimono, tailor-made to faithfully follow the myth.
This reinterpretation of the kimono, which blends Western styling with Japanese tradition, gives the garment a new beauty.
