Philippe Lacheau, director of Nicky Larson and the Perfume of Cupid, comes to Japan Expo to take part in a conference alongside Tsukasa Hôjô!
Philippe Lacheau is a French director, screenwriter, and actor born on June 25, 1980. He directed his first film Babysitting in 2014, which was a surprise box office success. In 2019, one of his dreams came true when he obtained permission from Mr. Tsukasa Hôjô to adapt the cult manga City Hunter for the big screen under the title Nicky Larson et le parfum de Cupidon.
This year saw the release of his sixth film, alibi.com2, as well as the third season of LOL: qui rit, sort, released on Amazon Prime, which he hosts. At the same time, he has just announced his next project, another comic book adaptation, this time a Belgian one: Marsupilami.
Philippe Lacheau will be at Japan Expo on Thursday, July 13, to take part in a conference with Tsukasa Hôjô about City Hunter.
