Nikki ASADA
Nikki ASADA joins you to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Japan Expo: she is present during the festival with the Akata publishing house!
Biography
Born on September 19 in the Shimane district, Nikki ASADA spends many years in the world of fanzines. She then starts her career as a professional mangaka in 2008, with a short story entitled Hatsukoi Cheers.
In 2010, she begins her very first series, Welcome to the club, in the Monthly Princess of Akita Shoten. This series very soon reaches a wide audience, due to its sensible and very fun characters! Welcome to the club is so successful that it has already released 8 books.
After this first big success, the mangaka gets out of the shadows and starts many other series: Navigatoria, Yowatomo ou Meitanteibu kono ato sugu!. Nikki ASADA also illustrates Kanagatari, an essay manga directed by the famous Kana HANAZAWA (voice actress, singer and actress). She also often signs illustrations of gigs and goodies.
At the end of May 2014, she starts yet another series: Hoshigami-kun ha doukashiteiru, which means the author has now a total of 5 series under production!
True mixed shôjo rising star, Nikki ASADA comes to see you from Thursday July 3 to Saturday July 5, with many signing sessions and a public conference.
