Atsushi OHKUBO
Japan Expo is glad to welcome the mangaka Atsushi OHKUBO in partnership with publisher Kana. Come meet the artist Soul Eater and Fire Force!
Biography
Atsushi OHKUBO started his career working as Rando AYAMINE’s assistant on the series Get Backers, before debuting as a mangaka in 2001. His tenacity and hard work won him a prize from a prepublication magazine and allowed him to be published, first with B.Ichi and then with the worldwide success Soul Eater.
He is currently working on his new long series, Fire Force, prepublished in Weekly Shonen Magazine.
Atsushi OHKUBO will be signing at Kana’s booth and at the Sumiré area. Varied illustrations will be offered for the signings depending on where you get it. More details about his program soon.
