Aurore
Aurore has been a comics artist and author since 2003, and she is also the artist behind Japan Expo’s posters since 2006! For the 20th Anniversary of the festival, she’s joining us and meeting you at signings sessions.
Profile
A fan of imaginary worlds, comics, and manga, Aurore created MyCity in 1995, one of the first manga-style fanzines in France.
After graduating in agronomy, she started working in animation as a self-taught artist, and then signed her first comics series with the publisher Delcourt in 2003.
Since then, she has published more than a dozen albums: Elinor Jones, Harfang, Lady Liberty, Pixie, Kookabura Universe... At the same time, she kept on releasing self-published sketchbooks and comics. She is currently working on the adaptation of a classic of English literature: Jane AUSTEN’s Pride and Prejudice. The 1st volume will be released in September 2019 with the publisher Soleil.
Aurore has also been the artist of Japan Expo’s posters since 2006.
