Kumamon
The sweet and so kawaii Kumamon is Kumamoto's mascot and comes to Japan Expo to meet his European fans for fabulous shows on the Sakura and Azuki stages!

Kumamon comes all the way from the Kumamoto prefecture, where he is the mascot. Born in March of the year 2011, after the Kyushu Shinkansen line opened, he won the big national mascot contest that same year.
His work is to find surprising and funny things hidden around us, and making them known to everyone. He was appointed commercial manager by the governor of Kumamoto and wants everyone to know about his lovely prefecture!
