Presentation
Paris Komatchi is an association who started its activities following the March 2011 earthquake in Japan. The adventure began in the kimono community. Eventhough time has passed since the catastrophe, Paris Komatchi keeps trying to help Japan from France by promoting Japanese culture through the kimono.
Program
At their booth, Paris Komatchi initiates you to the way to put on a yukata (a light summer kimono) with classes twice a day: at 11 am and 4 pm.
The association exhibits a friendship kimono drawn especially in the framework of Japonisme 2018 to celebrate the 160th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and Japan.
