Koidoukai
For the first time in Europe, a show will be bringing together over 80 yosakoi dancers from 6 troupes on stage. Among them, let’s introduce the French troupe Koidoukai!
Presentation
Koidoukai was founded in 2010 in Bordeaux (France) by French and Japanese students. At that time, it was the first European yosakoi team. In 2016, the team sent representatives to Kochi, Japan, in order to formalize the launch of an international yosakoi project towards the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, and was granted the title of Yosakoi Ambassador. The year after, Koidoukai organized a meet-up between the European teams in Bordeaux.
This year, the team has reached 30 members ! Training is every week with a lot of enthusiasm in order to share their love of yosakoi with as many people as possible through their participation to events about Japan, in the South-West of France but also other regions.

Koidoukai will be joining Odoritsuru, Raiden, Vogue Miyabi, Yosakoi London, and Yosakoi Paris Hinodemai to perform the Yosakoi European Show – YES, the very first show in Europe bringing together over 80 yosakoi dancers in Europe.
