Keiko SHIRAKABA masters sashiko, a traditional embroidery technique used for creating quilted clothes. She mostly makes Japanese coats called hanten, which were truly popular at the end of the Edo period for their patterns representing traditional Japanese tattoos.
This year, she will come to the festival to present you her work at the WABI SABI area alongside many craftsmen ready to make you discover the wealth of Japanese folklore!
