Kaio Gaming
Come enjoy a friendly and entertaining moment at Kaio Gaming's booth by playing Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, and many more!
Presentation
Kaio Gaming is a non-profit association created in April 2016 focusing on planning tournaments around local multiplayer video games such as Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and Dragon Ball FighterZ. Its members have been taking part in various festival for the past two years, including Verdun Joystick Players, Dijon Saiten, and Metz Torii. They regularly organize competitions in Lorraine.
Their tournaments’ philosophy can be summed up in three points:
- Gather all players independently of their level in friendly tournaments to counter the supposedly asociality revolving around video games.
- Promote local multiplayer, which has been left behind ever since the massive arrival of online games.
- Develop aditional activities for each tournament (mini-games, quizzes, blind tests…) so that no contestant can feel left behind
The team is addicted to Japanese culture, which is why its members are thrilled to be part of Japan Expo and share a fantastic experience with you!
Program
Kaio Gaming invites you to play games from Japanese animation (Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, One Piece), take part in tournaments around popular titles, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and Dragon Ball FighterZ, and stop by their booth all along the festival to take up "King of the Hill" challenges (a gaming mode where the player must remain in a defined zone called "hill" to win points then win the game). Speakers and mics to comment the games are available on the podium, and a drawing area is also open.
