Ozeki Saké
Ozeki Saké invited the attendees to try sake last year and they loved it! The brand will be back at the Washoku corner (booth G125, hall 5A) with its sake brewed according to three-century old methods.
Presentation
The company brewing Ozeki’s sake was created in 1711. In over 300 years, it has built a strong reputation for itself, as one of the most powerful and important sake brewing company in the world. It hasn’t always been easy, since Japan experienced some hard times. Yet, its "forerunner spirit" and clairvoyance helped Ozeki get famous for its delightful sake.
To satisfy foreign customers’ requests, Ozeki exports to over 40 countries and established the first sake brewery in the US in 1979.
The brand name itself matches the spirit of the company: an ozeki is a sumo wrestler belonging to the second higher rank. For an ozeki, there is always a new target to hit, something more to reach, another level to attain, and thus an everlasting motivation to achieve higher goals.
