How to make tokoroten with BIOMOMO HASHIMOTO
Have you ever heard about toroken? They’re jelly-like noodles made with seaweed. BIOMOMO HASHIMOTO showed you how to prepare them yourself during the festival at the Washoku area. Let’s recall how to proceed!

Ingredients
Use organic agar agar for organic tokoroten!
- 5 g agar agar
- 400 ml water

Preparation
- Boil some water to dissolve the agar agar.
- Put the liquid in the fridge to jellyfy.
- Once it takes a jelly aspect, you can make the noodles. The best is to use a tentsuki, a small device used for tokoroten noodles.

Tokoroten are served cold, with soy sauce, vinegar, sesame, nori, cucumber, tomatoes, shiso leaves, or ginger.
Tokoroten can also be served for dessert, with mapple syrup for exemple.
