ECG Season 8: the finals
The European Cosplay Gathering is meeting you at Japan Expo for its finals: the best European cosplayers selected all through the year in 14 countries brought together on stage for an outstanding show!

In July 2011, the European Cosplay Gathering, ECG for short, went through the finals of its first edition at Japan Expo. Since July 2017, this major European cosplay contest is back on track for Season 8, touring Europe event after event to find the cosplayers who will compete in the finals set at Japan Expo next July. Season 8 welcomed a new country among its participants: the Czech Republic. The ECG now includes 14 countries in the run for the finals.
3 or 4 entrants – 1 in the solo category, and 2 or 3 in the group category – are chosen in each of the following 14 countries: Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, and UK. The ECG allows the entrants to perform on the biggest cosplay stage in Europe, the Ichigo stage at Japan Expo, in front of 15,000 people who come to admire, support and cheer them. More than a mere cosplay show, the ECG finals are a masterpiece!
