The artists in HYAKKI-YAKO use dance and sword fighting to tell stories. The group's visuals and costumes are based on yokai, supernatural creatures from Japanese folklore. The performances are silent, punctuated only by the sound of Japanese instruments played by the members of the group.
At Japan Expo, the group lets you discover Japanese tales and myths on the festival stages! On the Sakura stage, Thursday 11 July from 2.30 p.m.!
