biography
Born in Chiba in Japan, Tatsuro IWAMOTO studied in Tôkyô. Soon, he joined the video game development studio Capcom, and then its subsidiary Clover Studio, as an artistic director.
Known for his artistic talent, Tatsuro IWAMOTO is currently working as a freelance illustrator. Though he’s always prefered drawing old men, he’s trying to vary his creations and is turning too mire kawaii characters. He is the chara-designer of the famous video game series Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, developed and published by Capcom. He’s also worked on the games Granbo, Ôkami, or Infinite Space.
With more than one string to his bow, Tatsuro IWAMOTO is also Benjamin Hunter’s voice (Reiji Mitsurugi in Japanese) in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.
