Shirô SAGISU
Shirô SAGISU a music producer and composer who worked on thousand music sheets and won several awards. He will be at Japan Expo as part of the conference celebrating the 10th anniversary of Studio Khara.
Biography
Born in 1957 in Tokyo, Shirô SAGISU made his debuts at T-square in 1978. He worked on various projects as a music producer and composer for idol groups in the 80’s but also for modern groups. With a career spanning over 30 years, he is best known as an avant-garde composer.
Shirô SAGISU also worked as a film and anime composer, especially for sountracks. He also won some awards for his compositions. In the 90’s, he became the manager of Parisian clubs and collaborated with French and English artists. He is the first Japanese artist who worked on a Korean movie as music director.
Recently, he has also collaborated with famous artists like MISIA, Ken Hirai, CHEMISTRY, Elisha La'Verne, SMAP, Gospelers and Taro HAKASE. He also worked on anime like Evangelion, Musa, Casshern, Bleach, Attack on Titan, and Shin-Godzilla.
Shirô SAGISU will be at Japan Expo with Mahiro MAEDA on the Kuri stage to talk about his work with Khara inc. during the conference celebrating the 10th anniversary of the studio.
