Nevan
Nevan is a cartoonist from the French West Indies living in Aix-En-Provence. This year, come and meet him on the Editions Delcourt stand at Japan Expo!
Ever since he was a child, Nevan has been immersed in art, and more particularly in comics. 9 years ago, he decided to turn his passion into a profession and began sending scripts to publishers.
After a pre-publication in Konkuru, a manga magazine, he was contacted by David Chauvel, who advised him on writing his story. The result is L'Ombre de Moon, based on Nevan's script and reworked by Sylvain Ferret. Come and discover this one-shot drawn by Nevan, which pays tribute to the world of manga, on the Delcourt publishing booth!

ABOUT DELCOURT/TONKAM
Having started out on their own, Delcourt is a long-established publisher of comics. In 2001, Delcourt joined forces with the fledgling publisher Akata to develop its Asian catalogue. They brought out a large number of cult series, including works by Osamu Tezuka, Maison Ikkoku and Fruits Basket.
Akata and Delcourt went their separate ways in 2013, but in 2014 Delcourt bought Tonkam, a legendary manga publisher in France, which had started bringing back Japanese gems such as Video Girl Ai in the early 1990s.
In 2016, Delcourt and Tonkam merged their collections into one, which became simply Delcourt/Tonkam, continuing today to offer an ever more eclectic catalogue. You can find it all on their stand at Japan Expo!
