Biography
BACK-ON is 4 childhood friends from Tokyo. The band formed in 2002 and mixes rock to other styles of music. With Kenji03’s striking melodies and TEEDA’s rapping in English and Japanese alike, BACK-ON imposes a new very personal rock sound.
From its debut, the band performed on stages all around the world: in Japan obviously, but also in the US, in Germany, in Canada, in Brazil, in Taiwan or in Mexico. Everywhere, fans are won over by their powerful shows.
In 2008, BACK-ON collaborated with the band GReeeeN to create a new band, BAReeeeeeeeeeN. Each member of the band has also featured with artists such as Kumi Koda, SoulJa, and many more. The band is famous for its quality productions and several artists have used their talent to produce their own titles.

The band is famous for their anime music. BACK-ON has made the opening for Air Gear, the opening and ending for Eyeshield 21 or the opening for Fairy Tail, Strike Back. Artists seldom make the themes for several Gundam seasons and yet BACK-ON has made the opening for the series Gundam Build Fighters for 2 seasons and for the new anime Gundam Build Fighters Try.
As for video games, BACK-ON has made titles for TALES OF THE WORLD Mythology 2 and 3, for the smartphone game Gundam G Generation Frontier, and the main song for Gundam Breaker 1 and 2.
After the success of their show at Akasaka Britz in late 2014, BACK-ON has been touring the JAPAN WORLD TOUR, and will meet you next summer at Japan Expo on Thursday and Saturday!
