Lief, author of the series Because I Can't Love You, is at Japan Expo!
After taking a refresher course in Applied Arts at ESDAC in Aix-en-Provence, Morgane Laquebe, whose pen name is Lief, studied manga and comics in Angoulême at HUMAN ACAMEDY EUROPE, graduating in June 2020. In 2018, she self-published her first novel Hiroo, followed by Volume 2 in February 2020, for which she did the illustrations as well as contributing to the writing. Following a meeting with Webtoon Factory's publishers via her school in 2019, she embarked on the 0% series, for which she had already produced two one-shots. She is currently working on Because I Can't Love You !

A manga publishing house founded in 2018 by Stéphane Ferrand, Vega-Dupuis was built on a catalog of Seinen manga aimed at a wide audience, then expanded into Shonen, Shojo and Kodomo, exploring the range of Asian pop-culture.
