Harumo SANAZAKI
A prolific artist in many varied genres, Harumo SANAZAKI has worked on more than a hundred manga, among which Angel Wars. Come meet her at Japan Expo 17th Impact!
Biography
Harumo SANAZAKI made her debut in 1981 with Ai Wo Kibô Shimasu at Akita Shoten, a publisher for whom she will keep on working. Since her beginning and up to now, she tackled many different genres, such as mystery, romance, and other original works, also publishing at Bunkasha, Shûeisha or Kôdansha. Among her major works, let’s mention Angel Wars, Maihime Shichihenge, Tenshi no Ryôriban, Abe no Seimei, and Asakusa Young Yôhinten.
She’s also been involved in international exchanges since 1997, giving manga masterclasses in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu), in Taipei, in Korea (Seoul), in France (Paris, Toulon), in the US (Los Angeles) or in Belgium (Ghent). She’s also part of the Shakespeare society.
Since 2011, Harumo SANAZAKI has also been working on film production (for instance here).
