biography
Shinji MIKAMI was born in 1965. He is a video game creator and producer. His talent is at its best in survival horror, a type of action-adventure game inspired from horror fiction. He is the creator of Resident Evil and Devil May Cry released by Capcom, a company he joined in the early 90s and where he became a producer, then the manager of the new section Capcom Production Studio 4. Shinji MIKAMI left Capcom in the late 2000s to work in new companies such as Straight Story, PlatinumGames, or Tango.
This year, Shinji MIKAMI has a new game to give you the creeps again. Bethesda Softworks is presenting The Evil Within, which you can play on the booth. As they’re investigating the most awful carnage, detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners have to face a mysterious and powerful force. After witnessing the massacre of his partners, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked out. When he wakes up, he is in a toxic world where hideous creatures are creeping amid corpses.
