Biography
Cheeky Parade is a Japanese idol group made of 9 girls. They were formed on February 19, 2012 as the second artist in avex idol label, iDOL Street. So far, they have released 6 singles, 2 albums, and 2 live DVDs. 3 of their singles have reached the top 5 in Japan’s weekly National Chart, the Oricon.
About a year after their debut, they held a successful nation-wide tour in Japan. In the summer of 2014, they played at one of the most popular rock festivals in Japan called ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2014 and fully "rocked" the audience with their energetic performance.
Also in the following autumn, they appeared at CBGB FESTIVAL 2014 in Times Square, New York City as the final show of their nation-wide tour. They were the first ever Japanese artist to play at this festival and wowed the New Yorkers!
Last year, Cheeky Parade performed at MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON FESTIVAL 2015 in Paris and then in another festival in Los Angeles.
