Chaw Chaw, this group of idols coming from Osaka, is waiting for you this summer for the most entertaining of shows on stage, with, as a bonus, sketches in the Kansai tradition!

Chaw Chaw is an idols group formed in 2014, and made up of students from Osaka, from the Broadcasting Art College and the Osaka Animation School. The group was born out of the training of pupils in first and second year, picked among several candidates at auditions. This group is characterized by the necessity for its members to take part in every audition, with the arrival of new comers every year. The students work tirelessly in a context of competition, where everyone must do their best.
The group’s name, "Chaw Chaw", comes from the Osaka dialect, where the word "chigau" ("different") is pronounced "chyau chyau". In order to be loved by fans in the rest of Japan and the world as much as in Osaka, Chaw Chaw chose this name to differentiate itself from other idols groups, but also to give strength, courage and smiles to the spectators.
The group’s motto is : "reckless", "we will cheer you up with all our heart !" To put their motto into practice on stage, those idols sing, dance, and even perform sketches, so dear to the spirit of Osaka.
