1000say are back with their electro pop tunes and you’d better follow them during the festival because MAN, API, MICHELLE and NON are Japan Expo’s official reporters for the festival 15th Anniversary!
Biography
1000say was formed by MAN who was a university student at the time. The band is made of two female and male duos, with API (vocals and bass), and NON (drums), and MAN(vocals and guitar), and MICHELLE (synthesizer).
In July 2008, 1000say made debut work, 1st mini album STARGAZER ORCHESTRA. In February 2010, they hold ONEMAN LIVE becoming first among a band in history in Shimokitazawa CLUB Que. In March 2012, they let ONEMAN LIVE Shibuya club QUATTORO succeed.
In late 2013, to commemorate their 5th anniversary, they held gigs in Tôkyô, Osaka and Nagoya.
MICHELLE is in charge of the artwork such as flyers and goodies, and MAN and API play DJ. Every member of the band also has many varied personal activities. They have collaborated with Japanese pop creators (for video works, art, fashion, illustration).
For three years in a row since 2011 (4 times in all), they have appeared at Japan Expo, whether in Paris, Orleans, Brussels or California. In July 2014, they are back at Japan Expo in Paris both as artists for a live and signings and official reporters.
