Tokyo Candoll is launching a new contest, to find the new Japanese boy band who’s going to reach the stars: here comes Tokyo Candoll -BOYS-!
Presentation
After the success of the first two editions of Tokyo Candoll, a female idol contest, here comes a new one stepping on the Japanese pop scene: Tokyo Candoll -BOYS-! As you can guess from its name, Japanese boy bands are competing in this new contest. Just like for Tokyo Candoll, the three stages of selections and the finals are taking place live in Japan. The winning band, chosen by the audience, gets a chance to perform on the Karasu stage at Japan Expo.
This contest is giving their chance to many bands wishing to launch in the world of J-pop and allows you to discover the winners live at Japan Expo next July.
The festival is partner of the event and will follow all the results, from the first selections starting on April 6 to the finals on May 7, with also the quarter finals and semi-finals.
The finals
For four weeks, 19 bands have competed during the selections. There were only 7 of them left for the finals and EPIC STAR got to charm the jury. Congratulations! And Japan Expo will be welcoming them as they will perform on Friday on the Karasu stage during the event as Tokyo Candoll -BOYS- winners.
