Traditional singer MisaChi invites you on the Sakura stage to a delicate show inspiring serenity.
Presentation
Asthmatic since childhood, MisaChi started to take folk song lessons at the age of 6 on the recommendation of her parents. She thus started to sing every day in front of the mountains to learn how to use her voice but also to get attuned to nature.
Her passion for traditional music never went off and before even being 20, she had won many competitions such as the national song contest twice in a row at 10 and 11.
Her career really kicked off in December 2005 with the song Missing You produced by the Japanese record company Dramusic. Since then, MisaChi have been taking part in many music events, may it be festivals, collaborations or outdoor concerts.
In 2016, one of her songs was selected to be the ending of the movie Bijyo Sute Yama nominated at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival. Concurrently, she increased her numbers of performances in numerous fields: movie music, TV ads or radio broadcast.
