Shiatsu arrived in Japan in the early 20th century. Shi means finger and atsu means pressure. It is a simple and natural practice that consists in applying pressures on the body to ease tensions, tiredness, and pains, and to activate our life force, as well as our physical and mental health.
Shiatsu is a popular bodywork therapy that can be practiced with family or friends. It is used to relax but also to developed our comprehension about ourselves and others. It is this relaxation techniques that the association Iokaï Shiatsu Paris invites you to discover.
Iokai shiatsu is different from a manual technique because practitioners not only use their hands but also their mind to connect with their patients. The quality of this kind of communication goes through essential points of iokai shiatsu that also means "touching people's lives".
Program
To initiate you to this relaxation method, the association Iokaï Shiatsu Paris offers you the following activities:
- free 30-minute sessions of shiatsu
- free 30-minute group sessions of DO IN (automassage) - 2 sessions per day at 11:30 am and 4:00 pm
The stand will also be animated by practitioners who will inform the public about the practice of shiatsu and training courses at Iokaï Shiatsu Paris.
