CREATORS TOKYO

CREATORS TOKYO is a team of talented up-and-coming fashion designers from Tokyo. 10 designers are selected every year and now 30 designers are registered in the group.

They receive help and financial support to expand their business during 3 years in the framework of an official program called “Tokyo New Designer Fashion Grand Prix Professional Category.” It is managed by the Tokyo metropolitan government, the Japanese fashion industry, and Japanese fashion schools. This program dates back to 1984 and it is one of the world’s largest fashion awards for students in terms of the number of applications.

The 5 designers attending Japan Expo are:

• Takeshi MINAKAWA and his brand GrassNote
• Ohal ANDO and his brand MIDDLA
• Eily K Jammy and their brand Neb aaran do
• Hiromi HAYASHI and her brand Romei
• Yukihiro TESHIMA and his brand Yukihero Prowrestling

The 5 designers attending Japan Expo this year are prominent in the group. They will present Tokyo’s culture through their creations which reflect their original characters. Come meet them at CREATORS TOKYO’s booth, where you can also shop their creations if you can’t resist.

On stage, an outstanding fashion show will introduce those creators, their brands, and their most beautiful creations: a must for all fashion addicts!
