Precision, strength, and harmony: kyûdô is as elegant as it is enriching! Come attend traditional archery demonstrations on a 28-meter long distance and attend the initiation sessions to shoot your first arrows with Ligue Île-de-France de Kyudo.
Presentation
Kyûdô, literally the way of the bow or in other words Japanese traditional archery, is a martial art condensing all the values of Japanese traditional culture. Developing your personality, your strength of character, your concentration, your respect for others, your self-knowledge, or even toning up your body and posture, such are some of the benefits of this authentic discipline.
Program
Archers from Ligue Île-de-France de Kyudo (LIFK) will be welcoming you on a large booth of 658sqm with amazing demonstrations, shooting on a 28-meter long distance, like in Japan. They will also be glad to answer all your questions about the discipline and the material used at kyûdô.
Initiations are also organized to let you try this traditional art of archery.
Kyûdô is a discipline fitting everyone, from teenagehood, with friends or family, all four days of the festival.
